One of the first notable features is the ability to import pictures from Facebook and Flickr albums in addition to anything saved on your iDevice. Even though Facebook integration is common in most of today's apps, the ability to pull photos from Facebook and Flickr is impressive.
Once users have their pictures selected and imported they can choose to add music to their slideshow. The music is limited to whatever is saved on the iDevice, this is sufficient. However the option to add soundtracks from a generic list might be useful in the future. Slideshow+ offers the ability to synchronize your slideshow with any music added. This took me by surprise at first, but when actually testing the functionality of this I was a bit letdown. I couldn't see a huge difference between a synchronized and unsynchronized slideshow.
Like any slideshow application, the option to change themes and transitions is available. There is a wide selection to choose from, all included in the app.
The final feature Slideshow+ offers is the ability to export the entire slideshow as a movie. Not only can the movie be saved onto your iDevice but it can also be uploaded directly to Facebook and YouTube. If users don’t feel like saving the video anywhere, there is also the option to instantly view it on your TV through Apple's Digital AV adapter.
Overall Slideshow+ is one of the best slideshow creation apps available to date. With plenty of features and customization you're sure to be impressed. Look for it in the App Store.
The iPad version called Photo Slideshow Director HD is also available!
